Voice & Choice

We create a purposeful, student-driven learning environment where students take an active role in their education. Through project-based learning, students have the freedom to explore, create, and innovate, shaping their experiences based on their interests, strengths, and learning styles. This approach encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression, helping students build confidence and develop lifelong learning skills.

His Future, My Mission

As a mother of three, I know there’s nothing more important than seeing your child happy, healthy, and thriving. But for parents of children who don’t fit the traditional mold, that journey can be overwhelming. After years of navigating therapies and schools that weren’t built for my son’s needs, I realized something had to change.

That’s why I founded Knox Academy—a school designed for children who need a different approach. Here, learning is personalized, curiosity is encouraged, and character is just as important as academics. This isn’t just about my son—it’s about creating a place where every child can thrive.

Why Choose Knox Academy?

Finding the right school can be overwhelming, especially when your child needs more than a one-size-fits-all approach. Knox Academy is Mississippi’s first school to combine Montessori education with therapy services, providing a structured, supportive environment for both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners.
