Registered Behavior Technicians are certified paraprofessionals who deliver behavior analytic services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
Utilize trauma-informed, assent-based behavior support strategies
Collect and track data on skill acquisition and behavior
Support emotional regulation through co-regulation and relationship-based strategies
Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and clinical team members
Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development
Support classroom routines, transitions, and daily activities
Maintain documentation in compliance with BACB guidelines
Respond effectively to student needs throughout the day

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Age 18 or older
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to trauma-informed, ethical care and student autonomy
Willingness to complete 40-hour RBT training and background check
Preferred:
Prior experience in ABA, special education, or related fields
Current RBT certification (or actively pursuing certification)
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to move frequently throughout classrooms and therapy spaces
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist students as needed
Comfortable sitting, kneeling, or bending to support students at their level
Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency or dysregulation situations
Sustained attention and engagement throughout the workday

Be at least 18 years old
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Complete 40 hours of behavior analysis training
Pass a criminal background check
Successfully complete the RBT Competency Assessment
Pass the RBT Exam through Pearson VUE
