His future, My Mission

As a mother of 3, Pressly, Hartley and John Knox there’s no greater desire than to see your child happy, healthy, and thriving. But for the parents of children who don’t fit in a box, that journey is often filled with challenges that many people may not fully understand. For years, I had been navigating the complexities of therapies, social skills training, and educational environments that didn’t always work for my son. It became clear to me that the traditional school system was not equipped to meet his needs in a meaningful way. And so, after countless hours of research, heart-to-heart conversations, and soul-searching, I made the decision to take a leap of faith and start a school of my own.

This wasn’t just about my son; it was about reimagining education itself. I wanted to create a space where:
Learning is personalized – Every child is unique, and their education should reflect that.
Curiosity is encouraged – Instead of rote memorization, children should explore, ask questions, and seek answers.
Character matters as much as academics – Kindness, resilience, and empathy are just as important as reading and math.
A love for learning is nurtured – School should be a place of excitement, not stress.
With this vision, I set out to build a school that wasn’t just for my son but for other children who needed a different approach to learning. This journey isn’t just about my son; it’s about changing the way we think about education.
